Personality:
While Heracles might at first seem like someone who spends his day just sleeping and staring into space – this is by no means all there is to him. The Greek male loves thinking and contemplating the past, and is quite knowledgeable in both philosophy and history. He might seem like a lazy and carefree man, but can be very serious underneath all that calm exterior. Not that that helps his rather disorganised state of being – he’s seldom on time and hardly cares for wearing a watch. (He's also known for lazily walking about withouth shoes)
Hidden beneath the blank expression is a deep love for his family and close friends. Heracles is loyal and helpful to those he loves, but spiteful and sometimes even violent to those he dislikes.
Although Heracles is slow to anger, his temper can be quite explosive once you’ve pushed the wrong buttons. Some of his worst outbursts have sprung from situations where he was merely defending himself or someone close. Once you’ve got him heated up and in an argument, the tall Greek male can be difficult to calm – and while he prefers things to stay quiet and composed – certain people just drive him mad.
He can be very flirtatious, but never insults nor makes a woman feel uncomfortable – he’s confident in himself and his looks, but too lazy to ever show it off, preferring instead to lay back and take it easy.
(Possibly has a case of narcolepsy – as he can sleep through almost anything, and just like a cat, seems to fall asleep in the oddest of places at the strangest of times. He has yet to go to the doctor, as he really doesn’t see it as any issue himself)
History:
As a young buy, all Heracles wanted was to follow in his mothers’ footsteps. Hours upon hours spent together with her excavating old ruins in their homeland made a huge impression on the young Heracles and there was no doubt in his mind what he was going to be: an archaeologist. He studied hard and got excellent grades in history – eager to impress his mother to prove that he was a good boy – nothing like his father who had just up-and left them when he was born.
However, due to an economic crisis, his mother lost her job and could barely afford to take care of herself – much less a young son. She quickly fell into illness and remaining friends suggested she send her son somewhere “Better and safer for such a young and impressionable boy”.
Thus at the age of 8, Heracles was sent off to an old colleague of his mothers’, a Turkish man by the name Sadiq Adnan. Heracles instantly disliked the man with a passion.
He was loud, obnoxious, brash and rude – nothing like his dear, gentle and caring mother. Despite the Turkish man’s greatest efforts at being a good role model and ‘substitute’ father, Heracles wanted nothing to do with the older male.
During his time with the Turk, Heracles spent a lot of time wandering around on his own – picking up stray cats and bringing them home. Party because he hoped the numerous cats’ would annoy his guardian, but also because he found comfort and happiness in the small feline creatures. (To this very day he still loves cats)
While Sadiq did try his best to be a good father, once Heracles hit his teenage years, it was pretty much hopeless. No amount of encouragement would make him open up to the older male and he hated anything the Turk liked doing. (If the Turk liked sports, Heracles aimed to hate it with every fibre of his being)
At the age of 16, Heracles refused to live under the same roof as Sadiq and promptly ran away. Despite trying to get as far away as possible he found himself at Blueterra Academy after only a few years – a wish from his mother (and who was he to not grant her that?)
After studying hard he applied to the Academy, eager to graduate with honours in History and philosophy – two subjects he feels very passionate about – and what he hopes will enable him to once again follow in his mothers’ footsteps

Sample Post:
The young Greek cracked one eye lazily and observed the noise in the cafeteria – some students where having a fight over something completely ridiculous. No reason for him to get involved in this. Leaning back in his chair again, Heracles closed his eyes and went back to sleep.
He was rudely awakened by the shrill sound of then bell. Yawning and stretching, he slowly made his way to the next class, taking a seat in the very far back of the class. After confirming he knew what the teacher was already telling them – he rested his head in his hand and drifted off to a day-dream-state. The sun was shining and birds where singing – life was just good.
Until he spotted the Turk – well there went his good mood. A frown appeared on his usually stoic face, and he braced himself for whatever stupidity the older man would un-doubtfully direct his way. He could swear the hairs on his neck where standing on end just at the thought of having to deal with Sadiq…
