Personality:
At first coming off as a childish person with slightly violent tendancies, this isn't far off. No one seems to be able to understand him because he usually doesn't let anyone in. Ever. Towering above most people, Ivan uses this to his full advantage to intimidate people to do things, or to placate arguments before they start. He is often seen with a blank, or even creepy smile tugging at his pale lips. While on the subject of Ivan's face, it is often childish with soft features, (minus his strong Russian nose) velvet soft lips that chap easily in the cold and dark blue eyes that seem violet in certain lights.
If you ever really get to know Ivan, you find a very different person.
In reality, Ivan is a very deep man with an excellent understanding of how the human mind works and reacts under certain circimstances. He's always pushing at people and toying with them to see how they'll react and if an how they lash out or reclude. Psychology is Ivan's love and he'd rather die than do something else. Although, contrary to most peoples view of him, the large Russian can be very gentle and kind, and is an able person to confide in and get usuable advice. He only shows this side if you've really gotten to know him though, and that takes more effort than most are willing to put in.
One more strange aspect of this man's personality is his obsession with weapons and weapons history. For example, the man can spend hours just examining the blade of a knife with a delighted smile on his face. This seems to play into the violent nature that almost everyone sees first. Ivan can usually be seen with an old style faucet pipe and will more often than not use it threateningly to emphasize his point.
And lastly... A word of advice; never get Ivan Braginski drunk. Although the feat within itself is difficult because even though he's only 22, Ivan's alcohol tolerance is very high. Vodka and other Russian brews are the only thing that seem to get him drunk. If and when you actually do get him drunk, the Russian becomes truely violent and not just acting. When Ivan was in highschool and went to a party, he of course got drunk... But he also sent a boy to the hospital just because he said something unintentionally rude to the Russian. Just a warning before hand...
History:
When Ivan was young and his youngest sibling was still a baby, his parents died in a car crash. His oldest sibling, who was always fragile and gentle, worked to support the two but was never really cut out for it. When Ivan was old enough, he told his sibling to stay home and take care of the baby of the family and he would work to make due. He couldn't really get a good job because he was so young and would take whatever odd job he could. This usually resulted in him staying out until strange hours of the morning in the cold and snow. Ivan never once complained.
The Russian had always struggled in school, never having the time to do his homework between odd jobs and sleeping in class because, well, that was really the only time he could. It was a practical God-send when someone finally took them all in. Now having more time for school, after getting a little bit of tutoring, Ivan found that school was generally easy and even excelled in a few classes.
Flying through middle school, Ivan found high school a little more challanging than he had expected, but the Russian reveled in the challange. He struggled a little, but seemed to otherwise to do fine. None the less, he was still greatly surprised when he got the letter saying Bluterra had accepted him.
Sample Post:
Ivan knew the teacher was speaking, but the blonde didn't hear a word that was being said. Absently gazing out the window, a small smile tugged at the Russian's lips as he watched the the sun twinkled on the pristine white snow. It was like a field of wintery gold.
Lightly drumming his fingers on the end of his scarf, still oblivious to the world around him, Ivan nearly jumped out of his skin when the teacher slammed a book on his desk and asked the Russian a question.
"Da?" He asked, looking the teacher straight on and giving him a blank smile that looked almost like a habit and simply shrugging when he didn't know. Turning back to the frosted window, Ivan noticed someone outside now. The other was obviously male (it was an all mens' college, after all.) with silvery hair that brilliantly reflected the sun and made him look like he had a golden halo around his hair. The boy's skin was pale, flawless, and looked reminiscint of the snow on which he walked. He was holding something, a stuffed animal from the looks of it. At least, Ivan thought it was a stuffed animal until in climbed up onto the boy's shoulder. That smile he gave was so-
"Class dismissed, have a good day." Ivan jumped again, head snapping forward as the bell rang. Quickly glancing back at the window, the Russian was a little disappointed when the figure was gone.
Milling through the halls, Ivan realized that the boy he had seen outside seemed to tug at some distant memory. He couldn't remember from where or when, but he certainly knew that boy.
"V'ere 'ave I seen t'at boy before...?" The platinum blonde mused, shifting his books a little as he iddly strolled into class. Ivan could barely recall anything about the boy, but there was definatly something there.
Something about money...
